GTDC’s Monsoon Trekking Expedition to Shivling, Sattari

Panjim, 27 July 2016:The eighth edition of the Monsoon Trekking Expedition by Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) will be conducted at Shivling, Sattari this Sunday, July   31, 2016.


The Sunday trek which is the eight for this season, will take you through an awesome waterfall situated in the Pali village of Sattari taluka. Pack your trekking bag and head towards the Shivling falls at Sattari.

This expedition would be extremely easy with a trekking distance of only 4 kms one way.
This trek promises to be adventurous with a lot of eye-catching sceneries on the way.
The most unique aspect of this waterfall is its name derived from the pattern that depicts a Shivling.
 
Transport arrangements have been made from Paryatan Bhavan, Patto at 9.00 a.m. The bus will depart from Margao and Mapusa Residency at 8.00 am.
 
Lunch will be prepared and served by the villagers
How to participate:  The trekking expedition is open to all especially those with a spirit for adventure and nature lovers.
 
What you need to bring along: Suitable rainwear, comfortable footwear, set of dry clothes, a towel, and an eco-friendly bag to carry back any waste.  No consumption of alcohol or smoking will be permitted.
 
Participation fee: Rs 700/- per head.
