Goa Tourism bags Most Innovative Product Award at the Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF) Hyderabad 2016




Panjim, July 19: Goa Tourism once again received honours at the recently held Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF) at Hyderabad 2016.

TTF Hyderabad was held from July 15-17, 2016 at HITEX Exhibition Centre with over 182 exhibitors from 8 countries and 20 Indian States and Union Territories.

TTF Hyderabad brought together various state tourism boards, national tourist offices, hoteliers, airlines, tour operators, travel agents, travel companies, railway, cruises and other travel marketers under one roof.

The Award for Most Innovative Product was received by Mr. Yogesh Naik, Marketing- Manager, GTDC along with Mr. Lawrence D’ Souza of Hotel Mandovi.

Goa Tourism put up an attractive pavilion showcasing its new tourism initiatives, activities, events and aspects which included monsoon tourism, festivals, heritage tourism, culture and cuisine, wedding tourism and a lot more.

GTDC also showcased its new tourism products and services such as Hot Air Balloon, Sea Planes, Amphibious vessels, Heli-copter joy rides, the new user friendly web-portal and mobile app.
Goa’s stall at TTF Hyderabad received an overwhelming response and a large number of travel and tour agencies visited the stall. The Goa stall was a massive draw for visitors on all the 3 days, marking an excellent response from both the trade and general public.

The GTDC officials also promoted its services, hotels and its packages to its visitors at the pavilion.
Mr. Nilesh Cabral, Chairman, GTDC said “It is a privilege to receive such an award for as the Most Innovative Product at TTF Hyderabad. GTDC has recently launched some new products like the Hot Air Ballooning, Sea planes, Amphibious Vessels, Heli-joy rides, Web portal and the Mobile App which highlights the progress made by Goa Tourism”.

A number of travel companies and hoteliers such as Travel Unlimited, Freedom Holidays, Hotel Mandovi, Grand Delmon Hotels, Royal Assagao and Hotel Sandalwood participated at the three-day fair in Hyderabad.

Country representations from China, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Singapore, and Thailand set the bar high at TTF Hyderabad this year. 

 TF is India’s oldest and largest travel trade show, which is now organised in 9 cities annually.
