Panjim,  Jan 12:While hailing  the initiative to declare Colva Circle as Opinion  Poll Square, the Hon’ble Minister for Tourism & Sports, Mr. Manohar Ajgaonkar has pointed out that this exercise would remain  incomplete without the installation  of  the statue of  late Anant  Narcinva (Babu) Naik, the former  Industries Minister and MLA of Margao.
“Late Babu Naik was a pioneer of the Opinion Poll and it will be fitting to have his statue installed at the Colva Circle which is being declared as Opinion Poll Square,” Mr. Ajgaonkar said.
Dr Jack Sequeira and Late Babu Naik were two great goans who always worked to preserve the communal and cultural fabric of Goa.
