‘Paryatan Parv’  to commence in Goa  from  16th September 2018
 
Panaji, September 14:  The Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India and Dept. of Tourism, Govt of Goa in collaboration
with IHM-Goa and  Goa Tourism Development Corporation  are all set to  organize  ‘Paryatan Parv’ commencing  from  16th September to 27th September 2018.
 
This is 
the second  year  that Paryatan Parv is being organized after a  successfully edition last year.
 
The objective of the programme is to draw focus on the benefits of tourism showcasing the cultural diversity of the state and reinforcing the principle of ‘Tourism for All’.
 
Mr. Menino D’souza, Director of Tourism, Govt. of Goa said “Paryatan Parv is an interesting event which will interest the local Goans and tourists on various aspects of tourism in the state of Goa. The Dept. of Tourism, Govt. of Goa invites one and all to participate  in these different activities which will go a long way in developing and promoting sustainable tourism in Goa.”
 
The event 
envisages large scale participation from the general public as well as industry stakeholders.
 

The event  will begin with a Heritage Walk organized at the heritage precincts at Mala, Panjim.
A series of programmes and 
activities will  be organized during  the eleven  day long ‘Paryatan Parv’ which will include a Rally on Tourism, Nukkad Natak, Run for Incredible India, Hygiene awareness among tourist, street  food vendors  and other unorganized sector stakeholders  and Sensitization in neighborhood about Atithi Devo Bhava.
 
A Flash Mob program, Trek to Mhadei River at Valpoi 
are some  of the other  interesting activities  during the Paryatan Parv.

On 16-9-2018, Sunday,
HeritageWalk , from 8.00 to 9.00 am ,at  Mala Panaji.
 
On 17-9-2018, Monday, Rally
onTourism , from 9.30 to 10.30 am ,at  Fort Aguada.
 
On 18-9-2018, Tuesday, Nukkad
Natak , from 10.00 to 11.00
am ,at  KTC, bus stand Panaji.
 
On 19-9-2018, Wednesday, Run for Incredible India, from 8.00 to
9.00am , at  Kala academy to Miramar.

,Thursday, Hygiene among tourist, streetfood vendors, other unorganised sector Stakeholders  , from 9.00 to 11.00 am ,at  Mapusa.
 
On 21-9-2018, Friday, Sensitization
inneighbourhood about Atithi Devo Bhava (shopkeepers and
chaiwala), from 5.00 to 6.00 pm ,at Miramar Beach.
 
On 22-9-2018, Saturday, Sensitization
inneighbourhood about Atithi Devo Bhava (Rickshawala and Taxiwala) , from 9.00 to 10.00 am ,at  Margao bus stand.
 
On 23-9-2018, Sunday, Flash Mob, from 5.00 to 
6.00pm ,at  Santa Monica Jetty.
 
On 24-9-2018, Monday, Hygiene among tourist, 
street food vendors, other unorganised sector Stakeholders , from 10.30 to 11.30 am ,at  Colva.
 
On 25-9-2018, Tuesday, Trek to Madhai river at Valpoi, from 9.00 to
5.00pm ,at  Valpoi river.
 
On 26-9-2018, Wednesday, Rally on Tourism, from 10.00 to
11.00am ,at Panaji Church to Ferry Point.
 
Paryatan 
Parv  will conclude on 27th September 2018 (World Tourism Day)
where  several programmes  have been scheduled by  Goa Tourism to mark the occasion.
