Goa Tourism wins ‘Best Designed Stall’ at TTF, Mumbai

Mumbai: Goa Tourism has been awarded the “Best Designed Stall” at the Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF), held at Mumbai recently. The award was received by Mr. Sanjay Prabhu Chodnekar General Manager, Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC).

The stall had the presence of nearly ten hoteliers from Goa including star categories, receiving a large number of visitors mainly from travel trade and stakeholders from the tourism ministry. The stall designed to reflect classic Portugese architecture which is synonymous with Goa, attracted keen eyes from members of the travel trade and general public.

Mr. Sanjay Chodnekar, General Manager, GTDC said, “Winning this award is a great achievement for us. The response was excellent and there were numerous business enquiries from travel trade which will help us generate business for Goa Tourism.”

The event was held at the Nehru Science Centre, Worli, Mumbai which saw more than 135 domestic & international participants including seven state tourism boards like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Odisha, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka and Goa. A Goa evening was organized for travel trade and media representatives on August 30. A cultural performance profiling authentic Goan folk culture was also organised for the invitees.
